Scrolling text applet

Animate your web pages with the Scrolling Text java applet. This applet will automatically size itself to the available area given to it by the HTML form via the WIDTH and HEIGHT properties of the APPLET tag. There are many configurable features of this applet including title, colors, font size and style, border width and color, graphics, background images etc. No understanding of java programming is required.

Search Engine Spider Checker

Just a very simple php script I wrote because some search engines where carrying php session id of all the urls of one of my webpages. So I wrote a simple user agent checker to check the user agent of the Search Engines crawler spider. It detects a bot using a file list of user agents and sets a flag to true what you do with that is up to you. For more information see included Readme1st.txt.

Smart Folding Menu Tree Script

Description: A folding menu tree that contains links and sublinks. Click on the folder icon to expand it. Browsers apart from IE 4.x will see the tree fully expanded (degrades well). The menu supports arbitrary nesting of sub-lists, and uses session cookies to give it persistance. In the past, whenever you opened a folder and clicked a link inside, when you returned, the folder reverts back to its initial, closed state. What a waste of time of having to reopen the folder(s) each time you return to view the links inside. Using cookies, this "smart" folder script will actually remember the state of the folder tree when you navigate to another page, so when you come back, it will look just the way you had remembered it to be. If you can't appreciate this feature, you can bet your surfers will!
Note: This persistance feature is only visible in, obviously, cookie enabled IE 4 browsers.

Snake Pit Applet

Use the cursor keys to maneuver the snake around the maze. Gobble up the mice to score points but avoid running into the walls or yourself.
When the red key appears, grab it to advance to the next level. If you make it through all five levels, you start back at the beginning but the game will move a little faster.
You begin with three lives, a bonus life is awarded for every 500 points scored.
