Calendar3
|
|
Calendar3 is a simple program that outputs the entire calendar for any year after 1752. It allows the user to see a full six months at a time. This makes it easier to look ahead when you wish to plan. Use it to plan a trip or see what day of the week a birthday is on this year. Best of all, it is fast and easy to use. In four keystrokes (the four digits in the year) you can access the calendar that you want to see. Requires zero technical knowledge and it is extremely small. As an all new feature, the calendar can be save to a text file for easy editing and printing.

CalendarBean
|
Thanks for making my previous bean the DatePickerBean such a huge success.
On request of Developers around the world I have incorporated the DatePicker Calendar as separate Bean and here you have the Calendar Bean.
Its very similar to the DatePicker in Working. The only difference being that the Calendar is now in form of a Panel so that you can easily added it to your applets-frames.
All Java Programmers are aware that neither the Java AWT nor the Java Swing classes provide a Date Selection Java Component and we all have to code this feature all by ourselves or if we can afford than purchase a 3rd party Java Bean. But things will be different henceforth. This Calendar is absolutely Free. It has been developed with the sole intention to help Java Developers.
CalendarBean is a useful Java bean that helps you to Choose a Date from an On-Screen Calendar.
- A very small jar file (just 40-kb) can be easily ported on the net.
- This bean is made out of Java Awt classes and does not use swings,
thus it works well with both Applets and Applications.
- You can customize many attributes of this bean by modifying its properties either through an IDE or through the methods provided.
- A range of constructors and set methods which can take
java.util.GregorianCalendar/java.sql.Date object as well as int (yyyy mm dd) so that you can easily assign dates to the bean. Corresponding get methods are also provided.
- Setting Range: Min and Max Dates.
- Customise colors of various parts, to suit your Container.
- Add a Calendar Listener to get notification of Date Changes.
- A rich set of Date Formats.
- A rich set of other Date related functions and features.
Completely Tested on Sun Microsystems BDK, Forte4Java, Oracle JDeveloper, IBM Visual Age.
I am sure that this Bean will come in handy while designing your user interfaces in Java.
Operating Systems: Windows 95/98/ME/NT4/2000

Calenz
|
|
Calenz is a personal calendar which runs locally on your PC. It allows you to enter any events for days on or after today and Calenz will remind you on the events occurring today and tomorrow. Use it as a means to remind you of important or special days and to schedule your timetable. Calenz can load when Windows boots up and it will notify you with a window of the events happening today and tomorrow. It minimizes automatically after you have read the events or when there are no events.
In addition, Calenz is visually attractive and it has the ability to change 'skins', 'visuals' and 'schemes' which will give Calenz a totally new design! Everyone can have their unique calendar and will not be bored by the same old interface every time you use Calenz. The custom colour 'scheme' editing adds even more variety in the designing of your custom calendar.
