WAV to MIDI converter for music transcription
AmazingMIDI automatically transcribes music, converting WAV files into MIDI files. It can recognize single-instrument polyphonic music. It's a powerful tool to help you to transcribe music, to practice musical instruments and to make MIDI files, and so on.
AmazingMIDI creates an Output File (.mid) from an Input File (.wav) that contains musical data, and a Tone File (.wav) that consists of monotone data. AmazingMIDI analyzes the Input File, assuming that every sound in the file is played with the same tone color as the one in the Tone File. As a result, even if the music contains several different instruments, AmazingMIDI writes down all detected notes as a single-instrument music.
The quality of music recognition depends on the tone color of the music. AmazingMIDI is suitable for analyzing the precise-frequency attenuating sounds like piano or guitar. The drum sound becomes only noise.
Currently, automatic music transcription has no substantial solution in general, but with some restrictions of the domain, it can be both possible and useful. AmazingMIDI is one of these systems, and is still in its infancy. However, again, it's a powerful chord analyzer.

AMCap is a small yet fully functional video capture and preview application compatible with Microsoft DirectShow (formerly ActiveMovie, hence the name). It is based on the sample AMCap source code from the Microsoft DirectX 9 SDK.

Now use AMenu for CDs to easily create startup menus that run when you insert your CD. AMenu for CDs is Freeware! Make a pop-up start menu on your CDRs. Burn this program onto a Data CD along with the your other files and folders. When the resulting CD is loaded on a computer, it will pop up a menu that directs the user to choose from several options.
Prior to burning, you can design the options, button colors. and form color by simply editing the text file called autorun.inf. You can use AMenu for CDs to launch programs, setup files, web sites, text files, MP3 files, Winamp m3u playlists, and more. 8 customizable buttons. Definitely worth a look.

AmoK DVD Shrinker

AmoK DVD Shrinker shrinks DVDs up to one fifth of the original size without any noticeable quality reduction.
Due to the smaller file size the copy can be burned on a "normal" 2.5 or 4.7 DVD-R. The DVD's menus, subtitles, audio tracks etc all stay preserved. Though, if you want only the original film is being copied/ripped.
AmoK DVD Shrinker uses an open source DLL (ShrinkTO5), which offers excellent quality with high speed. The GUI is easy to use but offers all necessary options. Please note: AmoK DVD Shrinker cannot burn DVDs. AmoK DVD Shrinker only shrinks the DVD.
Some DVDs are protected from copying. At least in Germany it is prohibited to actively remove a copy protection. Therefore, AmoK DVD Shrinker offers no functionality to directly rip a copy protected DVD (DeCSS). On the other hand, AmoK DVD Shrinker supports the popular and freely available Machinist2.dll. Please inform yourself if it is legal in your country to download and use the Machinist2.dll.

AmoK MP3 ReEncoder re-encodes MP3s to a lower bitrate. We developed the software for those people who
1) downloaded an MP3 with very high quality (e.g. 320 kbit/s) but just want it to be stored in reasonable quality (e.g. 196 kbits) on their hard drive to save disk space
2) want to copy as much MP3s as possible to their MP3-Player with limited storage capacity.
To accomplish the re-endocing of MP3s, AmoK MP3 ReEncoder offers all required features. It can process single files or thousands of them (and read in complete folders including subfolders). Due to its support for multi-core CPUs, several MP3s can be reencodet at the same time. The Software uses the LAME encoder for high quality results with small file size, offers a user friendly GUI with drag & drop support, and profiles for different users can be created. the reenconding can take place with a fixed bitrate between 8 and 320 kbp/s or a variable bitrate between V0 and V9. Finally, AmoK MP3 ReEncoder is offered for any major operating System (Windows, Linux, Mac OS). One special feature is that AmoK MP3 ReEncoder keeps the MP3s' metadata (ID3 tag) which is not the case with many other programs. And last but not least: AmoK MP3 ReEncoder can also handle WAV and Flac files as input and convert them to MP3.
